Once again, some of the digital artworks are just as amazing as the food, we’re sure. Your special is approved. Namibia has something very special to be excited about.
We also want your Restaurant / Outlet to make some money. We kept that in mind. Therefore we offer you to sponsor your own Special. When we start the nationwide Restaurant Ads campaign we give Restaurants / Outlets the choice whether they want to sponsor 1 free meal (the amount is Managements choice) for Walk-In customers ONLY!!! This method encourages the Public to walk through your Outlet Doors and buy at least the lock-down Special. If this is agreed we will gladly implement your own Sponsorship. Leave social media Advertising and the campaign stuff up to us! However. you want to make your special, just speak to us, the Namibian Public. If you want to deliver your special with a helicopter, well, that’s also fine with us. But the main goal here is that the Outlets make at least more turnover than the last months. That’s why this is a very new form of social intervention methods currently being practised online all over the Globe. We don’t want Namibia to fall behind with these new methods of Advertising.
And with us, you the Restaurant owner, get’s this service for free. 100% no hidden cost’s. You can gladly invite us for an ice-cold good Namibian Draught if you want to 🙂 .
You are Invited for the second run (this is a 2-phase Marketing strategy) starting on the 2nd June 2020. This time it is expected to pair your meal with ANY NAMIBIAN drink. We’re not just talking beer here! Look at some of the beautiful wines and Spirits Namibia is producing. Don’t get me started on Namibian Gins! Good lord have mercy. So how about a special with a Namibian Gin ‘n Tonic? The choice remains yours. How about Namibian Craft Beers? The local palette choice in Namibia is huge (click for ideas). Q: What if my Restaurant only opens up the last week of June?
No problem, then go ahead and make a one week month’s end special. If it relaxes you, we have received a special only valid for one day and only selling one item. That’s gonna be interesting!
Q: Do you take specials with Pap?

Yes, please – Even if you just sell preserves, put it together with a home-cooked Namibian meal which you recommend and then just put the price of the eg. Chutney on your special. Then your in!!! Q: We manufacture brined Olives and Olive Oil at the coast but we work with a private Restaurant open some-times?

Q: What if I only want to partake in one special?
We wouldn’t understand why you would want to do that, its great free exposure for your business. But if you want to only deal with one phase of the campaign then no problem, you still welcome. 🙂 However, we are going to have a nice little gratitude present for the participants who complete phase 1 and phase 2 of the complete campaign. Trust me, it’s something you want to be part of. It’s a very exclusive thank you. It will definitely increase your sales in coming future (depending on Corona though… hope things will be looking not too bad)! Plus it’s fun! VERY! There will be such a surprise behind the whole campaign, you will see! All I can say is that this little Prize can’t be sold and hast to stick with the Restaurant or Outlet forever. That cashflow thank you from us will only work for Outlets showing off their Specials right here, in this campaign. It will never be repeated again, no second one! Q: Please explain the judging thing again?
Specials are put out in a fixed time period and are therefore presented the public on social media to encourage interaction with the Namibian Restaurant and Food Outlet Industry.
– We are giving out Certificates for Best Special Overall, Best Design and one Public Choice Award which will be determined via social media campaigns and by actual embracing the special as a whole. Plus ALL the Outlets who completed 2-phases of the campaign get a little something extra special from us. Can’t tell, promised Tokoloshe! 🙂
This free nationwide Campaign carries a very deep essence and that is not just to show but also embrace Namibia’s Excellence!!! The second essence of this campaign is to get a nationwide understanding, availability and beauty behind Namibian culture, culinary understanding and Namibian Product recognition. The Online informational spread is going to be very widespread throughout Namibia and selective Countries. We are putting a very serious measurable effort behind this! Verstaaan jy, wogiet! Everyone is in Lockdown and as the Invitation says “Online”. Look closely, you will find advertisement going around. It’s Online! No lock-down Online… 🙂

Q: How about Hunting Lodges and Hotel Restaurants?
Yes, we know hunting season is coming up. Even you guys are welcome to send in. We all know how inviting Namibian evenings around a hunting weekend with a Poikie can be. Asseblief tog, stuur in asbl.! If you have a special for “a hunting braai & camp special” then please send it. We want to know about it!!! Has to include food,… that rule is a MUST! And yes, if you want to sponsor yourself a weekend for the campaign for a campaign give-away than you are also welcome to do that! Just by the way, the same also true for Hotel Restaurants! Pair it with a Room if you want, BUT your food special MUST be the highlight of your special. NOT the Accommodation. Would be nice to see what the Hilton or Avani would come up with? Q: Can we send in Gift vouchers inside the campaign?
Yes, you can as long as the Gift voucher is confined till campaign end which is 16 September 2020 and must include a meal special of some kind. If you want to send in a voucher valid through both phases no alcoholic drinks may be included. Soft Drinks or Oshikandela (recommended) is more than welcome.
Q: Can I make a special for next year? (the question of the eve)
Yes, you may! However, if it fails then we take no responsibility. Hai Kona… no! no! If it’s done very well we might just post it. We have a good sense of humour over here and everyone is supposed to have fun on the route, sowaar! 😀
